You know that meme? If you think that 2 months is enough to reach ThemeForest quality level, you’re going to have a baaaad time :)

But now seriously. I spent almost 10 years now studying mainly programaming topics and I am still learning. If you need tutorials, you have Tuts+ that have one of best, if not best tutorials about anything and everything regarding webdesign.

I myself used their tutorials to learn some new things that helped me a great deal. I think they even have tutorial about becoming webdesign pro. It state everything from HTML to PHP and Photoshop skills.

But if you’re serious, you will need much more than 2 months to get some results.

You will learn a lot in 60 days, but probably not enough. Anyway, don’t give up if you’re serious about it. :)

Google for things you want to learn.

Also, you won’t be able to learn it in 2 months. Even people who already know their way around in PHP, HTML and jQuery can’t create their first theme in 2 months.

Best way still to me is to examine pieces of codes from things you like. And ofcourse – give yourself the time :)

As mentioned by Morad, CodeAcademy is a great place to learn.

I love their style over one like Lynda.com since it is hands-on and you are learning your code by writing it, not by listening to a lecture.

They don’t get into super advanced stuff, but Google is just a click away.

Another great resource is StackOverflow forums, lots of help there, though it may take some digging to find it.

I have been learning on CA for about 3-4 months now, and there is no way you can reach TF standards in 2 months, I have not even considered making a full theme yet for TF, there is still much to learn, and Envato has the highest standards for templates on the web that I have seen, many TF authors are long time devs and programmers that are putting their experience to use on TF. Most are not newbies like us lol.

Anyways good luck learning to code! Hope to see us both as TF authors a few years down the road XD
