Lost my iLok and need the software license today for a project!

Hi Soundfix – I hope you find the iLok – total nightmare losing the damn thing. I thought it was really cool that a couple of the guys here offered to bounce out your stems though. Nice to know that there are good people out there in the world who would help in that way should it be needed! I too am happy to volunteer my services to any author who is stuck with an iLok issue now and in the future. I have all the Vienna libraries, the EastWest Play stuff and a bunch of Kontakt libraries from ProjectSam, Sample Logic, Heavyocity, and many more should another author find themselves in this hideous scenario. I keep my iLok permanently plugged into my keyboard – it never travels anywhere. Had a close call with losing it one day and vowed never to let it happen again! Too painful contacting those people for support (anyone ever tried getting in touch with EastWest during a crisis? Good luck with that…) May the force be with you SoundFix – it is surely somewhere close by. I hope you find it soon mate. JB

Thanks for the reply mate, and I agree, the AJ community are an awesome bunch (well, most of them anyway ;)) Luckily I have tons of uni work to stress me out at the moment and forget about my poor iLok ha I will definitely post in here if I find it!

Sure it took those, I always try to be helpful… But I really had to clean it after…

haha that’s just amazingly funny that you went through so much effort, thanks I will look again in a couple of months when I have time to write music, but for now, university work is all I can do (luckily, lots of it is pretty fun!)

No, not kidding, too much work at the moment. I have already looked EVERYWHERE but I wil ltry again at the end of May, and if I can’t find it I’ll have to apply for new licenses (luckily only EWQL SO on there, I think :S) Thanks for your help hahah

Damn elicensers and iloks! Got too many of them and they are a liability using them on my tablet “on the Road”

Everything should move to the Waves 9 licence system…simple, easy and hard disk based. Job done
