Do you (/did you) have an SSD in your windows machine, if not saying a macbook with an SSD is more responsive than a PC without an SSD is misleading at best.

I’ve had 2 macbooks, but didn’t get on with them, both my windows laptop and desktop have SSDs in them and it makes a huge difference to responsiveness.

edit however, if the macbook works for you then that’s all that really matters, I enjoyed my macs for a couple of months, from a build quality point of view they are exceptional and the screens are fantastic.

I hope not :) MACs and PCs are two different types of computers for two different types of users. They both have pro’s and cons. I hope everyone here knows this.

I used Espresso for many years, but moving over to Brackets more now.

Lol, I tried hard not to start a flame war, it may be he has/had an SSD in both machines and still finds the OS more responsive and if so I have no problem with that (might not agree with it, but that’s another matter ;) ), I wish him the best of luck with his Macbook.

I would also recommend Sublime
