Anybody found some good online resources for learning Magento theme development?

Or do you have a great Magento theme you found easy to modify to suit your clients needs?

Post them here so we can all benefit :)

Cheers,
dtbaker

Why don’t you look at our magento themes, check out pethemes in google. It’s pretty easy to customize and more over comes with dozen of features. Please let me know all of your thoughts on that.

Thanks

I encourage all of you to dig into Magento – as it’s booming right now! And, in April, we’ll be moving it to a top-level category on ThemeForest.

Could we have a rough date of when the magneto theme competition will be on? :)

That’s a good idea Jeffrey – I like Magento and will submit one soon

Nice!

I have built 4 or 5 Magento sites in the past year – a one off theme is quite a bit of work (from design to complete I have anywhere from 80-160 hrs into each). I am curious, what will the price range for these be?

Also, be sure to check out Magento 1.4 – its templating system is much different than previous releases as it is based off parent/child themes.

Cheers, Bret
