I started with a canvas 1000pixels high but my design is 920. I tried the ‘Canvas size’ but that stretches it proportionally (in other words, the top gets cut off and the bottom too. I just want some of the bottom to go).
Any ideas?
Changing the canvas size doesn’t resize the content within the canvas, you can use the crop tool.

You just click image>resize then uncheck constrain proportions – then type your size

Image -> Canvas Size
Set the new height, and select the ‘Up’ arrow for the ‘Anchor’. That will anchor the top of the page, so when the canvas is resized, it will only affect the bottom.
You can just select everything you want to leave with marquee tool and use image->crop
Thanks everyone. Please note that it is the actual PSD with CS3
.I cant find a ‘crop tool’ .There is no ‘Image-Resize’. I can resize an image by proportions but that will crush the PSD .’Up’ arrow for ‘Anchor’ – not on CS3 .
Grr, I have made a good design but because I made it too long in CS3 I will have to start again. I would fill the space with Lorem Ipsum but then TF wont allow it.
