Hello, I am new to ThemeForest and web design in general. So as the title suggests my question is:
Is it ok to base my work off of an existing website ?.

The website in question would be this one: http://www.ringvemedia.com/
I really like that layout and want to incorporate it in my html template. Is that ok? or would I be braking some kind of copyright?

Thank You.

to be an author here you need to follow those rules: http://themeforest.net/author_guide

first one:

The items you upload for sale must be your own creation. Do not submit works based on tutorials or other people’s designs.

For what its worth that site is no where near the standard to be accepted here either. Good luck with your project
