I was browsing on TF and got to this page: http://themeforest.net/item/nocturnal-premier-audio-wp-theme-/621573

Suddenly I got a alert from my anti virus, that I got a attack from: themes.themolitor.com/nocturnal/wp-content/plugins/special-recent-posts/css/css-front.css?ver=3.4.2

How can this be?

if you look at the url for the error it’s not actually TF it’s the authors site that flags the issue – actually a plugin seems to be driving the issue.

I’ll report this to the author.

And I’ll make fun of him for it on a live podcast.

Hi there,

That’s very odd. I’m not sure how a CSS file could create such an alert. I reviewed the file that your anti virus alert mentioned and there’s nothing in there that would cause any sort of attack. Just basic CSS in there.

Could this possibly be a bug/issue with your anti virus software? Maybe it doesn’t like the comments in the CSS file?

As Jonathan mentioned, it’s a plugin file (not a ThemeForest or theme thing), so I’ll see if they have any information…

Thanks!

Chris
