It’s time that we announce the API to the masses! What on earth is it? Well, to sum it up, it’s this thing you can write programs against to get data out of the marketplaces, to make your own custom applications and whatnot.
It’s aimed at developers, so if you’ve never written a lick of code in your life, it doesn’t matter! Move along! Nothing to see here!
We quietly announced the API a couple of weeks ago in it’s own quiet forum topic, but it was only a brief introduction. Today we “added a heap more functionality” to it, so it’s good to go.
What we’d like from you developers, if you’re so inclined to write any 3rd party applications, is to provide feedback on the type of data we’re providing. Specifically, if there is there anything else you’d like that we’re not providing.
