I was trying to add a banner to all my items, and I realized it takes so much time to do, so I had a great idea!
Can the devs by any chance add a “Master Edit” button?
By this I mean, a setting that adds some HTML code inside all the items? For example, if I add a image on the “Master Edit” it should appear on ALL the items I have in ones portfolio in their item description!
This would be awesome for social network icons, follow me icons, upcoming items, and general notes for all items! Especially when your portfolio is getting big and you want to add “Hey, contact me for support on my forum ” it takes a decade especially for GraphicRiver and PhotoDune authors who may have up to or even more than 100 files!
What do you guys think? Is this achievable? Staff? Devs? This would be awesome little cookie for us
Add a +1 if you want/need this feature!

if you are using chrome just right on item and then click on Inspect Element and copy the embed code from there it saves alot of time

I was talking about editing 40 items, to add one banner in the description. It would be great to have one edit, add that banner there, click save, and it would appear on all of them!

Absolutly +1
It hurts to edit all the items, and some authors have more than 100 items…
I think this was already mentioned somewhere… but: +1!
EDIT : Found the thread.

Personally what I’ve done is add a few images (hosted in my public dropbox) to all my items with a wrapper link around them, linking to a generic page on my own website. Those pages then use a simple HTTP redirect to my items back on ActiveDen. In case I want to update any of the images or links, I simply change the redirect page or the image in my public folder. That way, all items change along.
This definitely does not have the strength of a global edit, but it does allow you to do some global changing. You do have to go over all your items once to add the images and wrapper links, though
But yeah, I agree, awesome suggestion. Seems a tad non-trivial to implement, though.
