Hi everyone, I was just wandering if maybe we’re not understanding what is people really looking for in this site.. I’m writing this because, especially for the last 3 tracks we uploaded, we’re having no positive response at all, and we thought we produced something good.. So my question is: what do you think of them? Maybe they do not fit with what people need? Or they are simply not good enough? Please be clear and don’t worry to criticize! Her are the three links: http://audiojungle.net/item/tasting-life/1580873 http://audiojungle.net/item/funny-look/1564389 http://audiojungle.net/item/me-and-carlos/1505940

It’s not self promotion, just a bit of sadness.. We would really like to understand what we are missing and we need your support! If you feel like this is a promotion, please lock this thread. Thank you for your support, Paolo and Lucio

Hello Paolo

Don’t waste your time thinking about what could be wrong with your tracks, because they are fantastic. Better use the time for promotion, guide people to your great music ;)

Promotion, promotion, promotion and patience ;)

Great music! Many of my own favorite tracks don’t get any sales. Perhaps this is not the market for them. Don’t sweat it, continue writing and uploading. If you’re hoping to get music recognition as a stock artist, its a bit of a stretch, because very few of us actually get to the big time doing it, unless, of course, you’re TimmcMorris :) I think your tracks are marketable for documentaries and lighter background scenes, but maybe not corporate, which gets a lot purchases here. I can definitely see them also as instrumental easy listening tracks on their own. Its very difficult to see what the end buyer requires music for, and what they envision for the project. I’ve been creating short videos for my music to promote. It also helps me see how the music affects the visuals. Good luck to you, and keep on writing. Cheers.

I so feel your problem, the composers in my team are always asking me “Why did my song get rejected?” or “Why don’t I have any sales?” and I have no choice but to give them the same answers that everyone gets on the forums. To be honest it’s just principles of economics, there’s certain demand for certain music and certain supply, sadly when it comes to the type of music we all like to write normally people look elsewhere for it, even looking to get expensive sync licenses off “famous” songs. I agree with above and really feel that if we all do our bit promoting not just ourselves, but Audiojungle so more and more people know that good music can be bought here cheap, then we should all see more sales in the future!!

Thank you for your point of view! That’s what we were start to think, we’re not “corporating” enough lol.. We have to adapt in a better way to what the market asks! Thanks again!

In my opinion, music on audiojungle needs to fit what is desired by the market. If it’s too experimental, too complicated, too ahead of it’s time etc, it doesn’t stand a good chance of getting through here. Those tracks are better placed to sell as retail items perhaps, or for a production library dealing with alternative music. Keep experimenting and being creative however. As long as the music is good, there’s a time and place for it, but that ‘time and place’ is perhaps dictated by market economics instead of purely creative forces.

Very nice and soft live sound. I really like it. Pls keep doing like this and experiment a lot with different kind of genres. I think thats the main key for good selling, and of course, promotion. I have started maybe one month ago with uploading and I already sold some files. So, I can saz that I’m satisfied. And I also think its very important to research music of the other members on AJ, those who have good sells, so you can see how the whole market works. So dear “Class Records” dont stop with uploading, and as “NovaseraMusic” says, do what is desired by the market.
