As you can see i am locking threads like crazy…
Here is the reason, i think we should keep this forum clean and helpful. So what that means is when problem is solved i will lock it the moment i know that the person who wanted help is satisfied.
If you think i should not do this please say so so i can stop

I’m never one for censorship. If there are interesting themes developing in a thread, my tendency is always to let them develop naturally and run their course. Conversations twist and they turn, questions are rarely so black and white in these forums that they can be considered answered once and for all.
If something turns into a daftness-fest, a “+1 marathon”, congratulationz thread no. 139479 or something like that then fine, I guess, but it looked more like a prison than a forum this evening.
Of course if there is some kind of interesting theme is developing i will leave it, but if someone asks: “Where can i buy OF” and someone answers “Videocopilo.net” i think the right thing to do is to lock the thread.
Anything other than that will be left open to conversation.
Personally, I don’t think you should lock it, let them discuss unless it gets out of hand. Maybe mods should delete repetitive threads like the Optical Flares example above (if they don’t already do so!)
I think it’d be great if the user had the ability to lock the forum once they’re satisfied and such like other forums (:
