“Product Owner”? what is this? is about envato bundles? I don’t understand this working position, can you describe it better?
Sure can. It’s not about bundles
The term Product Owner is borrowed from agile software development practices like scrum, but it may make more sense to you if we described it as Product Manager, where the “product” is the marketplaces.
Short-term, the main responsibilities I’m focusing on are:
- understanding what needs to be done, and why it’s important
- talking with authors and buyers, researching the details of some upcoming projects
- prioritisation of the upcoming work to be done by the devs
- communication, communication, communication — talking openly about what we’re working on, what’s likely to come next, why it’s important, etc
While there will be some differences in my role given my background in design and the strengths of other people on the team, this 15 minute video does a pretty great job of describing an agile team’s product owner:

Welcome Justin. Major two things that have been talked to death for years, yes years — are:
- Item comments/support — be able to turn them on/off so a link to forums can be put in its place and make them searchable (thread) .
- Improved Rating System — a la Amazon (thread).
Another lower priority one would be automatic marketplace withdrawal
justinfrench saidhmmm… where should i start?

Thanks contempoinc. Item support is my top priority, as mentioned in the notes post. The other things you mentioned are obviously important as well.
welcome:)
