Great! So happy this has already got some interest. Just to clarify, I want to know where you are and what events you’ll be attending (if any) in the next 6 months in North America. No promises yet, but it would be cool to try and organise something!

Chicago WordCamp is happening June 28 – 30. I’ll be there along with a few other Elite authors. :)

Giddy up!

It would be nice if it was in Canada as many of us Canadians no longer will cross the border into the USA. There have been many horror stories recently for Canucks crossing the border, and its so bad that even American who come up here for various reasons dread crossing back into their own country.

Toronto is the 4th largest CMA in Canada/USA so is it not about time something occurs here?

Yup TO is great, I live south about an hour in Hamilton so it would not be a bad drive.

Ok so lets see more excited Canadians, cheers.

As usual each author will promote his own city. :-)

Of course!

Come to Portland Oregon! It’s pretty cool here.

I second that!

Come to Seattle, WA :)

That would work too.

Somebody also mentioned Las Vegas. Maybe Envato could come to next year’s NAB show and host a meetup at the same time :).

Being an RV owner who has traveled across the border more than a few times, I can tell you that almost all of my horror stories are just the opposite. Crossing into Canada is a nightmare. When i was a kid, it was so easy…no passport needed. Now, if the agent is having a bad day, watch out. I have yet to have a bad experience coming into the US. So I am not sure where your “stories” are coming from, but I can tell you that if you check iRV2.com, you will find some first hand accounts and the fact is that it has just become much more difficult to cross, period.
