Hey Videohive.
A friend of mine has tasked me with a very unfortunate deed, to put together a presentation for her son’s funeral.
I’ve never been to a funeral, let alone seen a memorial video for a child and after some searching, most project files seem to be upbeat and happy as opposed to what I would expect for a funeral.
Is there something this community might recommend for me?
Thanks very much for your help
Thinking possibly this one http://videohive.net/item/photo-memories/2217812?WT.ac=search_thumb&WT.seg_1=search_thumb&WT.z_author=robertojorge
But it’s not as great as I was hoping, so if anyone has any more suggestions, please let me know.
Thanks agian

maybe some slow photo presentation and slow music with piano instrument.
You can make the video less happy by turning down the color saturation.
Video themes may be clouds, nature, water
Cheers for the suggestions guys.
I think either of those projects with a little less colour will be perfect. I’ll sit on it for a little bit.
Thanks agian

Have a look at my project Rush (conceived from a very similar situation).
Maybe you can use this peaceful project: http://videohive.net/item/captured-moments/2463996
This is my first template I ever created and have used it for at least 15 funerals at a church I attend. I met each person who asked me to do the memorial video and can say that the feedback has always been beyond what I expected. The template was turned down by videohive and I have never submitted it again. Here it is if you want to view it and perhaps it will give you some ideas what to look for. When you’re at a funeral watching this template, it gives one time to reflect on the person, yet keeps it interesting without too many effects. Too slow for some people maybe but I know it works well in person. In the beginning of the video I used some files from Digitaljuice which I did not use for the template submitted to Videohive. Hope this helps in your search. https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B2HTPS2QuuVrd01BZDFRXzd3UW8
