I became a provider, How do I offer a service? Can’t find it! Am I missing something?

If you’ve been invited by us as a provider, then simply login, hover over your username in the top right corner, from the drop down choose ‘Your Services’, from that page there is a big button that says “Create a Service”. Go there and hey-presto!

I’ve filled “become a provider” earlier today and hope to be one soon :)

I was wondering / suggestion:
If a provider supply many different services and for example 2 or more clients buy each a service at the same time.
Is there a possible to “MUTE” (enable/disable) specific services until the provider can actually get more? not delete… but only until he or she done with a service.

I know… it’s a very optimistic of me to think about it (wow! you’ve got more than one request at the same time…) but it could happen so I’m wondering about the system behind it.

Thanks ahead!
* Sorry about my bad English

Yeah, you can pause services at any time from the ‘Your Services’ menu. Just click the pause icon and the service will be made invisible until you ‘unpause’ it. :) Any jobs still running will remain active even if you pause so you can finish those off.

I must say I expected something else from microlancer. I thought the approach will be: customers will post their projects and then the interested service providers will apply to those projects.

But I see the approach is viceversa: providers post their services and customers choose a provider for their project…

I wish microlancer a lot of success, but honestly I just do not see customers logging-in and looking into a list of >100 service providers to find the most suitable for his job/project.

Yeah, we’re doing it differently from other sites. Our experiences hiring freelancers through bidding sites have tended to be pretty intense! You post an ad, then have to go through dozens of applications, negotiate with a freelancer etc, plus heaps of freelancers miss out and put effort into something without any return. We think this way around is easier!

No such option !
“Oh No! Not Found! The page you’re after isn’t here”

At the top right, I only have “Your Jobs”, “Your Account”.
Have you already filled the all necessary data on the page http://www.microlancer.com/become-a-provider?
Yes I did. and got the confirmation “You have been added to our pool of new service providers.”

It sounds like you maybe have just registered your interest in getting an invite. Until you have an explicit email from us inviting you to the site as a service provider you won’t have access to the ‘Your Services’ menu item.

Jordan replied to everyone’s questions, which began right after my comment. But still no respond to my issue which I’ve said 4-5 times already. This is just annoying and really unprofessional.

Hi Flinzar, I’m sure this was not intentional and Jordan will get back to you as soon as he’ll see your last message. In the meanwhile, why don’t you try dropping him a message via Email? That would certainly make it his way :)

Thank you for your patience.
