30%? Wow thats huge! At the end, the costumer must pay this price.

Your price is competing with the rest of the world. So in reality, the designer/developer is the one who eats the cost.

How can you make any decent money on that site without working like a dog?

Are you in favour of this post or against this? I didn’t quite get from this response. 30% fees is good or bad? Thanks.

I’ve completed a couple of jobs and everything went smoothly, i.e no disputes, no extra revisions etc. In fact all the jobs were completed well before the stated times. The process system runs smoothly with very less minimum fuss and hassle. However the 30% fee charge is a bit of downer really! I have raised the issue about the 30% charge with the Microlancer team. Waiting for a reply. I’m hoping it’s going to be a positive response otherwise the only way round it would be to just increase the service fee!

Yes you are right, but I wonder if we increase our Service fees on our projects. Client will be in mode of expecting more and more top notch quality. I mean they are paying more so they should get more and more work from us, although we are getting same amount and paying 30% to the fees.

30% is way too much. While many other platform charge lower and have a better way in providing service.

I too agree. 30% is way higher. this is not the platform that you can sell your work multiple times like graphicriver & other envato markets. your work is unique and you do work with direct client. so there should be minimum fees .

that’s what my initial thought. :)
