Congratulations everybody, Envato has decided to implement this awesome feature and it will take the devs at least 2 years to implement (as usual). They will let you know when it’s done, may be you are dead by then ;)

Not bad, especially when we release updates. Or even better…when a new update has been released to our items…it would automatically email the purchasers telling them that there is a new version of their purchased file (theme,etc….)

Regardless, I’ve been reading the thread and it’s in my monthly report. If it’s something we can do or not, I don’t know, but we are reading your suggestions.

I know, you’ve told me that twice and I already feel ashamed. The problem is, nobody can really tell whether you do take it into consideration, and if you do, whether it’s a go-go or a no-go. Isn’t there any possibility you setup some sort of “upcoming features” (without disclosing any crucial information regarding Envato) for authors to see?

No problem at all Crozer. We talked a lot about this is KL and we hope to have better system of communication in place as we move forward. Meeting most of the Devs in person really helped me to see that they’re a great group and really approachable. So perhaps, the lack of updates on my part had more to do with me thinking I was bothering the Devs and not asking, rather than just sending them an email.

I’ve already seen a whole lot more cooperation with us in the Community team receiving updates whenever a update gets applied to the Marketplaces. We definitely want to give our community as much information as we can, and feel free to jumps on our backs when we don’t :)
