I’ve notice a bug and if it isn’t a but then it is a bad user experience problem.

After I edit an item with soft rejection I always submit to reviewer, but up there is a save button.

Why it isn’t and down a save button at the bottom of the page or at least a warning that I should first save the modifications before resubmitting ?

Why it is a very bad user experience ? Simple, if I modify and submit my item many items I’m going to be punished although I always make modifications.

You can edit description and save update info without the reviewer – up save button.

All other changes and updates need approval of reviewer – down submit button.

As TanyDi says:

Anything in the top portion like Description and Thumbnails can be immediately Saved and made live instantly.

Other items below the Save button require a Reviewers OK like: TAGs, files, Screenshots. – that’s why you need the Submit button below.

You don’t understand My items were soft rejected because of incomplete description, I’ve edited and press the submit for review button. My modifications were not saved!!! Now I know but maybe some new users won’t notice and fall in the same trap as I did. Maybe envato team should put a warning to let the users know that they should save before they submit something to a reviewer.

Well you will not see a New Preview on a soft reject item after you upload it. It needs a complete review again.

Works the same way for a soft rejected item, just upload your new changed files and message the reviewer about what you changed to meet the requirements.

I have never seen it as a bug – works really nice.
