There’s several threads in the forums that already discuss different ways to improve sales.. so I would search for those and see what has already be said.
Just make unique items at the best possible quality. And to help increase your traffic, one way is to create a personal site where you can display your items, have a blog about relevant topics, and give away free items from time to time.
But really, I would search the forums.. there’s good suggestions already out there. Good luck.

Creating more items will help you to have a big portfolio,just like me 
but,but but now a days i think you better to work smart instead of hard work. i mean creating one unique item will help to have more sales than creating many normal items…Excuse me, I speak broken English
