My theme was soft disabled because of a bug that needed to be fixed and now that I have updated it and it has been re-accepted I am gone from the new “Top Sellers of the past 3 Months” list. This seems a little unfair to me. What do you think?

I agree that it shouldn’t lose its spot on the Top Sellers list. I suggest reporting it to support and see what they can do :)

Happened to me when one of my actions product on GR was #1 best-seller :( In my case, it did not get fixed – it’s just hard for the Staff to make it up from then on.

So a soft disable after months of being for sale can potentially cost an author thousands of dollars in lost sales…?

Oh and we also receive no warning that a file is going to be soft disabled. Why couldn’t we get a warning that says “Please fix X in your theme and reupload before the end of the week so that it is not soft disabled.”

You usualy get a warning saying that. We got a warning with this kind of problem, a week in advance, so maybe you got the same email but did not see it? And just so you know, we got removed from the to sellers for 3 months too, even if it was not the case…. but what can i do?

I got an email when it got taken down, that’s it. I think both of our files should be added back to the list or added as new items. I mean either it existed previously or it didn’t. I don’t want the short end of the stick on both.
