My first item rejected, need feedback please

My first item here:

was just rejected. The feedback I received is rather vague. I do not know exactly what was wrong. I only know I did not include a psd design of my item.

Please, I would like very much to receive some feedback about the item itself (the address above). I just need to know, it haunts me.

Anyway, it was “hard rejected”, this means I cannot submit it again, even if I improve it, without being banned from the market place.

Off-topic, I must say I see a lot of feedback referring to the “design” and/or “design quality”. I think this is a very subjective criteria, the buyer should be left to decide if he likes a item design or not. The Envato staff should only check the technical standards, the compatibility standards, the general quality, etc and not the design.

This template has a nice concept, but does not meet our approval standards and will need to be improved before being reviewed again.

Your template does not provide a unique enough design with the necessary design quality, features and options to compete in the marketplace at this time. As higher quality templates become available in the marketplace, approval requirements will increase to maintain appropriate marketplace quality. This is inline with our recent change in internal reviewing policies.

Could not agree more with this. You item has been rejected because of one persons personal opinion on the design. Not everyone is going to like it, if they did, you would be a millionairre.

Go elsewhere
