My First Mac

Hi, I just bought my first mac and I am loving it! I thought maybe you can give me some recommendations for softwares, I have photoshop, adium, forklift, coda, textmate (which I really don’t understand what’s so good in it), MAMP , Tweetie, Notify, Dropzone, Sequel pro.

what else do you think I should get?

I wanna mac lol the plan is to hopefully get items onto themeforest and use that revenue to buy one, it’s a good incentive.

The MAC platform has really become superior in recent years. I am a designer and I never owned a mac because I am not really the evangelist type so I put my money on stuff that works. Well now I really see it as my next choice.

I think for designers and developers it has no competition right now.

I would suggest Text Expander for code snippets.

Coda is just brilliant, much better than TextMate. Can you explain me what’s so good in it?

I also use TextMate for Windows… after a few hours working with it, I left all other editors behind.

Coda is not a text editor, is an ide. Coda and TextMate are 2 products totally different.
