My next theme got Soft Rejection

Hi everyone

My new theme was rejected with “soft”, how to improve it:

Thanks a lot for your submission this is a really nice design, perfectly crafted, beautiful typography and overall details, however we have PLENTY — yes in uppercases — aplenty, themes like this one and we don’t need this kind of themes with the same layout, we’re looking for unique styles and layouts instead.

The answers right there, you just have to make it unique!

It’s a nice design, as the reviewer said ‘perfectly crafted’, and I applaud your work. It is a bit of a bummer when a theme you have worked on for a fair old while is rejected. But like the reviewer mentioned also, it is like all the other themes coming through (why some get accepted, other rejected i do not know?), folks are just really playing it safe, and it’s this endless production line of clone themes.

I, personally would rather design something that is a little more niche = (most of the time) less sales!! than churn out an endless stream of clones.

You have great skills, there is no doubt about that, and I think with a few days spent on the theme, thinking up a new layout/elements etc.. you will be onto a winner!

Thanks guys, I will think about this issue, continue or stop. I know, reviwer said right, it’s not unique truly.

No, I dont copy your images and I never see your themes (never go to your portfolio).

Maybe just a coincidence lol
