I recommend to use a custom itemswitcher to place your ref link there. Also put the ref on every link to the marketplaces
I recently did that. Suddenly 55$ from refferals.

jQuery plugin site being down is killing me. Last month was 687 clicks, this month a mere 96 clicks. I wonder what impact the decreased traffic is having on the marketplaces.

I need to get on the referral program in 2012. Looks great for returns.

Looks like that is number one on my list to do for next year :bigwink:

As some of you mentioned, I’ve used Adobe Exchange to try and drum up some referrals as well. It did pretty well at first, but then tapered off when I wasn’t uploading as many items to it as often. Adobe seems to be letting the Exchange die a slow death though. I had one submission that took 6 months before they approved it and I’ve heard others over there mention having the same issues. Guess I’ll have to come up with some new ways to drive referrals! :-)

I think I’m doing pretty well without any promotion on my own websites.

Started to promote in May (I had only few items) and as my portfolio grows same does the referall Clickthroughs.

lucky you, the magic is having the account approved… :P “Approval pending” since almost 2 months.

They approved me pretty fast, but I don’t think I’m lucky at all. As I remember I need to upload some file(s) and wait for account approval on Adobe Marketplace and for file approval on Adobe Exchange.

I’ve found out that they are not interested in print design as my submissions on Exchange are still pending with print templates (about 4-6 months), but styles and web elements were approved in few days.

On Adobe Marketplace, there are print templates, but there You just need to be approved and all files will be approved almost immediately.
