So I don’t think they copied him. I mean, come on, make a theme in 4 days? And then, maybe both of them were inspired by some other theme.

If you copy a theme, you don’t need 4 days.. You just need one :D

If you are blaming others for copying the design, what about the issue of your theme with Orman Clark and for proof you can check these tweets.

https://twitter.com/ormanclark/status/242600016873652224 https://twitter.com/ormanclark/status/242662797442441216 http://www.uxde.net/demo/pintering/ OR http://demo.themezilla.com/?theme=hoarder

But in his case it was coincident or inspiration…c’mon. Moreover both UXTHEME & Sensational are inspired from current SmashingMagazine design. There is no similarity in coding or other functions as well.

Orman said my theme similar so I removed and making somethings to be different as ( background: http://subtlepatterns.com/arches/ and Pinterest layout ). There is no similarity in coding or other functions as well. But why I removed my theme?

Moreover both UXTHEME & Sensational are inspired from current SmashingMagazine design. ( What’s similar ? Header? Left sidebar? Icons? And right sidebar? But Sensational copied all from my theme. And how about [links removed by staff]

When it comes to design it is usually hard to define a rip, specially taking in consideration today’s “standards” and “trends”, I could say that a lot of themes here on ThemeForest are copies of each others, in terms of structure (Magazine Themes in particular and Corporate ones), etc… but does someone blame about that? No. They became trends that a lot of people have come to do, and it is now hard to know WHO was the original mastermind that had the innovative idea.

In this specific case it is clear that there was a lot of inspiration based on uxde work, which was in fact inspired itself on Smashing Magazine design style, but structurally speaking it has enough differentiation from Smashing Magazine to be called a different design. Tough, I would personally try next time to be MORE unique as ethically speaking there are a quite a few similarities that could have been avoided.

@mythemeshop must change their attitude towards design, as they have a lot of designs for sale that have been over-inspired by others works. In particular as @purethemes said one of my works, Magnovus.
