I would like to know if there is any problem an item having the same name as an username here on TF?

The name I have chosen just makes sense, and when I checked I noticed that someone has the same name as an username.

It’s not a name like “Joe”, “John” or “Susy”, but an noun like “Shoelace”.

Basically can I name a theme “Shoelace Theme” if there is an user with the username “Shoelace”? :)

If the name is generic it should be fine. In your example, shoelace is generic, but if someone named their theme dpthemes theme, it wouldn’t be acceptable.

In any case, I’m sure the reviewers will tell you if they think the Name doesn’t conform to the Naming Guidelines.
