Need a feedback on this, please

I just finished working on the home page of this layout, and I need some feedback before I continue. Or if I even should continue at all.

And if it’s good ( just if ), what category should I submit this in it after I finnish ?

Thank you for your critique. As fro the spacing between sections, it’s a perfect 80px between each one, but not the space between the header and slider, I missed that one, thank you for highlighting it

As for the typography and line-height, I used this tool this time upon the advice of someone professional in this forum, so this is the settings that they recommended for this width.

As for the colours, I did used Kuler. And this colour scheme is one of the highest rated, maybe I didn’t use it right, so I will try to move colours around, but I honstly like this colour swatch, it’s calm, that’s why I like it.

Looks okay but you need to improve colors and as said. the header and the footer looks clustered. Try improving the shadow effect on the slider and the background for the images does not look good. Improve it with shadow or good borders. try premiumpixels.com .. they have some great freebies out there which could give you an idea for the image background buttons etc.

Still not there I feel, you can improve the colors more. But keep trying.

Reduce the size of your ‘ream more’ buttons.

By the way, you are planning for HTML template or PSD ? if PSD then it needs a lot more work.

How about now? is the header still cluttered?

I think the reviewers dont like colorfull, they want it to become grayscale . Dont use many color, try improve contrast it’ll be ok.
