+1, I hate this crowd sourcing non-sense…
- Bought between 10 and 49 items
- Contributed a Blog Post
- Contributed a Tutorial to a Tuts+ Site
- Exclusive Author
- Has been a member for 4-5 years
- Item was Featured
- Microlancer Beta Tester
- Referred between 100 and 199 users
- Sold between 10 000 and 50 000 dollars
Grahpic River is already not huge, I don’t think a new market place is the solution.

+1 Exactly. It’s not even a marketplace any more in that case.

Yeah, these new categories that are suggested here could easily go with GraphicRiver – assuming ‘content’, not ‘contest’.
logo marketplace would be neat

How can there be a logo marketplace?! A logo should match the company, right? If there are companies with the same logo, how can they differentiate visually? :/

A logo should match the company, right?
a company who have a true identity will not look after rebrading on logo stocks market.
but, this niche is not for companies with strong ideas about visual identity. is same thing like with templates. do you think a company with a defined brand, will chose for their website a template from TF?
do you think a website should match in a different way the corporate identity of a company then a logo? no, sir!
then, why shouldn’t be a good idea for a new logo market? i think is a good one. you can use the example of brankstack or similar logo markets. nobody stop you to imagine a name and build a logo for that one.
but the problem is at price. a cheap one (10 – 40$) will lead to cheap stocks, take by example what is on 99design logo store, even there the prices are triple then GR intend to have.
but even that, i am sure the new category will have their clients.
The logo idea is being crucified on the GR forums but thankfully there are some with constructive criticism. I really do hope that Envato listens and make the correct changes.

Apologies if it sounded harsh, but coming up with such an idea as this one … I think it’s a bit too much for this marketplace.
