Hello! I need advice from the reputed WP authors from Themeforest. I am a Joomla! template developer. Now because, WordPress has the sky touching popularity so I want to dive into the WordPress theme world. My PHP skill is good but not a master yet as well as know jQuery. So please can any body tell me from where I start from? I know about the site wp.tutsplus.com, is there any more site where I can learn from? please provide me the site links where I can find detailed tutorial articles to be a WP theming master. Or any good book to learn from? Please help me. Thank you.

Hello dmsumon,

Books that I recommend:

  1. Building WordPress Themes from Scratch
  2. Digging Into WordPress

The most important would be the WordPress Codex

All the best,
Kris
