Need advices for PSD improvement

The homepage layout looks nice enough. I think the problem lies within the elements of the site. Some of the finer things scream early 2000’s design trends. I think you should go with the old “less is more” ... perhaps remove some of the gradients in the menu hover. Also think about making the shadows behind the recent jobs and slider much, much lighter.

You might also want to look at the typography, having a good balance of text and imagery is key. I think you might have a bit too much text at the moment.

but yeah, its nice enough. I would just try and get it more ‘balanced’ ... for example the social icons at the bottom. they are pretty big. I don’t think they should be that big.

I suggest making your margins larger between the pictures, the white box containing the content etc. Looks like 10px, I suggest trying 20px.
