Need community feedback, please be constructive!

Hi everybody! Many times I’ve seen this type of post here on forum but I said I would give it a try with a theme of my own on Theme Forest. I’ve send my proposals a couple of times but I got to a point where I need a pair/pairs of fresh eyes. So, here is my demo ... please be bad and objective. ( http://buywordpress.com/wpEventful/ )

Here is my latest review on rejection: 1. Your file has some well done design concepts, however it does not meet the current and very stringent quality guidelines and we can not accept your file at this time. You will need to make some additional improvements in overall aesthetics and aspects such as typography, graphics and spacing. 2. There are a few inconsistent spacing issues throughout the design. 3. Overall template’s typography needs additional refinements and improvements before it will be ready for sale. 4. Even with the current design, a significant increase in the polish of the various aspects of the template may just swing the decision in your favor.

Generally looks fine, but in detail is not so perfect.

• don’t combine 2 patterns together
• try to increase contrast to get headings out of the context
• some elements like menu level2 are not so visible, everything must be perfectly clear
• you need to take care of the spacing

Other issues you should figure out for yourself, I believe having a look at other items will help.

... the feeling that I got when i first looked at the demo was that it needs a bit of content… we have a bunch of images and… that’s it! ... just my first impression!

I’ve edited your title to something better. Being bad is not the relative word, constructive is though!

Looks quite nice but!

1. Your design is really breathing ( aerisit ), meaing, your top elements have nice margins, paddings, spacing between them. Whereas the bottom part is all crowded up! I’ll use our language, you’ll understand better. Parca l-ai ingramadit direct proportional cu cum dai scroll. Pe masura ce cobori e tot mai comprimat

2. Paragraph fonts require some attention. Try using the following property for them in css text-shadow:0px 1px 0px #FFFFFF; it should make them look better. You can use this for headings as well. Give it a shot.

3. Remove the last post on the bottom. Give it a nice visual hierarchy!

4. The slider needs a little bit of work on the arrows, specifically the left one looks out of center.

5. Try to make the footer a little smaller. 3 items should suffice, so that the contact items and the other items match height. I’m not sure what to say about the bottom logo. Try reverting colors or using a simple stroke logo there.

In rest, arata foarte bine! Polish, si incearca din nou! Bafta!

Yes. The theme looks quite good. With some changes it could look awesome!
