Once again I have been rejected on the graphicriver site – seriously? I was told in a ‘kind’ email that I am being thanked for my submission but it doesn’t meet the quality standards of the graphicriver – even in the already over saturated logo design section.
Here are the first two logos that I submitted – feedback would be appreciated.

Any feedback is welcomed – good or bad

These are just poorly put together.
The red in the gear looks a bit dull and to be honest the gear itself just looks odd. The font selections is very poor. Back to the drawing board.
The property logo is bad color selection. The gradients are a bit dull and bland, not much depth either. If you are going for 3d you need to give it more of a vectorish 3d look instead of a cartoonish look that you have now.
That’s just my 2 cents.
msaadvertising…thank you for the input, looks like it’s back to the start!!!

try logos with solid colors and not gradients. Post them on here and then get some criques.
That will make things easier.

Not a good way to start a post, respect the reviewers, especially when you clearly have work to do.
Typography, it needs improvement, remember that a logo can be entirely text so, type should not be an afterthought! Seriously, work on your type choices, spacing and readability (the stroke on the type is awful for so many reasons)
No offence meant!
Peace

Tommus,
Thank you for your input – I know that I have work to do on this.
No offense taken, it would be nice if the reviewers gave some form of constructive feedback though.
