Need Help Adding Scroll Bar

I bought luca’s wonderful template Saganowsky, I’ve made a few custom changes to it.

On my site each page contains a nextgen gallery, I would like to arrange the thumbnails horizontally and add a custom scrollbar for the overflow-x.

I have added width:-moz-max-content to .bb but this only works in firefox, how can I get the same effect in IE and other browsers?

I was wondering if it is possible for the horizontal scroll bar to fit the screen size eg 80%, this way if the viewer shrinks their browser window they can still use the custom scrollbar and not the browser window’s.

Thanks I’ve managed to set that up a custom scrollbar now, but I still have the same problem with trying to replicate the width max content css property in IE and Safari.

I could not find a solution so I have had to define the width in px.
