Need help with my first item (slider)

Ok, I need a little help with my theme. I am not very comfortable with jquery/javascript and I want to make a slider to look like a slider on https://playtype.com/. Can you give me some suggestions or tutorials how to do it the easiest way.

you can use the tinycarousel for something like that. Don’t have to do it from scratch, but you can if you want to.

To do something likw that from scratch you have to be pretty comfortable in js and css. I mean this is why those plug ins are around use the guts and customize the graphics, i mean you can add some cool things to the js as well don’t get me wrong but i think it’s easier to start with something that already works.
