Can you please be more specific? What is your actual question on support? Do you need help with the template (a closer look learned me it’s not a theme but a template)? There should be some documentation included. For actual item support look here for instructions:

Me again,

No. Please don’t worry at all. I think it’s not even related to Ventus. (It’s somehow complicated) Please open a ticket and I’ll update you when I figured out what’s the problem.

I’m sorry for any inconvenience this caused you… Iman

We had the same exact thing happen to us, we purchased a theme and then a few days later the theme was removed from the marketplace.

I’m going to have to go with the consumer on this one. Just by looking at your past threads in regards to this theme, it’s apparent that you had some initial issues with the theme submission.

Index.php:

1. Display a list of posts in excerpt or full-length form. Choose one or the other as appropriate. 2. Include wp_link_pages() to support navigation links within posts.

Themes are supposed to work out of the box. Use Page Templates to create your home page and explain how to select it via Settings > Reading

This shows that you have a lot to learn. I think for the sake of customer retention, that you should focus on learning Wordpress and then once you master it, you should start developing themes. This will cause customers who purchase your products to never wanna come back and purchase from the marketplace again, because one bad experience can put a very bad taste in a business owners mouth.

Hope this helps and goodluck.

You are truly don’t know what are you talking about. When the reviewer find even a small issue in the theme, it can soft reject it with a looong message citing various parts of WordPress codex. It doesn’t mean that the theme misses all of the cited features. Very often is a problem on reviewer’s side, when he just didn’t noticed something he is pointing at. Authors and revieewers are just people, we all do mistakes.

Everybody needs to learn everyday, that’s for sure. From my point of view, you should learn to not attack people if you are not familiar with full background.

It’s obvious that the reviewers missed something during the review process, in result the theme is no longer activated on the marketplace and now they risk retaining customers who purchased the theme.

And please do not say I’m attacking anyone. I simply threw my opinion out there because we had the same exact problem when we first started purchasing here. So to say I don’t know what I’m talking about is attacking me. I think with over 200 items purchased on this site that I know a lot more than you do about purchased items.

Take care and good riddance.

But his theme was disabled mistakenly, just read this thread http://themeforest.net/forums/thread/i-need-a-new-badge/109065?page=1.

I am all for free speech and everything and you are a really valuable member of this community no doubt about it, but with such statements as above you are hurting the reputation of an autor without any valid reason. If the reason for disabling of his item was really a poor quality of it, I wouldn’t wasted my time in this discussion, but it is not.

I respect you for having over 200 items purchased but if you haven’t purchased this particular theme or used this particular theme, you are in no position to start making claims about this particular theme.

Hey everyone.

I’m just so sorry that this caused any problem for anyone.

@PhantasiaAeterna I really appreciate your support. Even if I was here I couldn’t defend myself like you. Thank you…

@accudata First I really appreciate if you read the thread that you mentioned to the end. The question that I asked there was not because I don’t know what an index.php is. It was because I had them in my theme but reviewer soft rejected it because of these items and at first I was confused. Then I figured out that reviewer was not able to see it because I’d moved theme shortcodes and some functions to a separate plugin and a function which was necessary for theme had been moved to the plugin by mistake and reviewer was testing theme without enabling plugins. I fixed the issue and resubmitted it and it was approved. I made a mistake as everyone will make but nothing so much serious.

About my item that is disabled now, I didn’t write it here in answer to my item purchaser as I just wanted to guide her to support forum and didn’t want to make her uncomfortable because of my own problem.

But, I completely agree with you about authors that are just selling here and don’t care about customers. I believe I don’t know everything and I’m learning everyday to improve my work but at least I’m providing great support to my customers and after 14 days after my theme is approved, my average response time to their questions and tickets is less that 60 minutes. (Consider that I need to sleep sometimes but it’s still under 60 minutes.) and I can tell you that from 70 purchasers, about 40 contacted me at least once and between these 40 clients, 39 of them are completely happy with their purchase and only one of them is not.

I’m sorry but I’m not really the person that you think…

I wish this to finish soon as I’m loosing my time on unnecessary things instead of improving my item and helping clients…

Cheers, Iman

P.S. Thanks Jaynesh. I was talking too much and didn’t saw your post :)
