I have a problem… I would like to show in archives just the first 55 words for each post. The first one post have to show completely… I have installed some Better Excerpt plugins for wordpress but it is not working… I think showcase dont let me do it. Do you know what can I do please?

It is not working: What iI need is for example in this category not to show the entire post just the first 50 words for example: http://www.photoshop-designs.es/category/fotografias/modelos/ You can see it is showing all the post and and I want this post to show “read more…” Thank you very much

When you make a post in wordpress you can insert a “More tag” by pressing ALT +SHIFT+T where you want to cut off the post!

Or alternatively you can click on the MORE TAG button above the post insert panel!

Also it depends on your theme’s post content code in to what text i.e “Read More” is displayed!
