OK I don’t know how many of you are nature lovers here but tbh, I didn’t find it truly to be just for nature lovers. So sharing this video here as I was hoping for someone to put this up on youtube. Indeed a fantastic documentary with the awesome David Attenborough! I highly recommend getting it on blu-ray, Amazing quality and footage.

Actually if you watched Life in the US you missed a LOT of stuff – those 1 minute snippets they showed during the ads was not everything – the original bbc version explains everything in more detail.
Anyways – this is how they do it – they find a site that is perfect and motion track a camera over it and use lasers to get exact dimensions – they then recreate EXACTLY the same conditions inside a blue / green screen studio – and grow the plants / vines over time with time lapse photography – then they mix the green screen footage with the original pan in live footage to create the scenes – absolute cutting edge tv documentary work always from the bbc.

It is available on DVD but IMO you should definitely get it on blu-ray if possible.
