I just recently finished redesigning my own portfolio site, and I tried to do some ‘outside of the box’ stuff. :) :

So, I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions, comments, advice, etc. on what I might improve, change…

Thanks!

dude honestly ,that’s one sexy site you got there. I love th flow of everything in it. I really can’t tell you what to change, just leave it as it is because it’s one of those unique sites that you shouldn’t want be looking similar to others.

Thanks! Yeah, I was definitely going for unique, as well as having a single page design so the whole thing would feel more fluid and unified.

In terms of the user interface design though, you were able to figure out how everything worked fairly easily, or was there anything confusing or unclear?

For instance, my dad wasn’t clear on what the categories for the portfolio were- he thought ‘Print’ meant print the image, and didn’t know what ‘UI’ meant (which I’ll probably change, as no non-designer is going to know what that is).

I think it’s really neat – however, it took me a second to figure out how to go back. My first instinct was to click on that central silver symbol to return to the main area. It seems slightly odd to click on the link a second time to return.

well guys you can plainly see that right under the tab, it says click to go back. Maybe my eyes are faster at noticing stuff. hehe

Yeah, I was toying with whether or not to make that center button the home button, so I think I will.

Really kool !!! But maybe you can develop the “service” part… ANd in portfolio, the previews are maybe too small… but it’s just my opinion. I love this concept !

Good work !
