The basic idea will be to add target="_blank" to those anchor elements. You’ll likely need to modify a template to do that (best to do it in a child theme). If you want certain items to open in new windows and others not to, you can put a conditional statement in the template based on a custom field meta value you can set on your post.

Hope that helps get you aimed in the right direction :)

Thanks for your replay. Definitely the right direction.

But I have not the needed skills to do this – therefore I search for a coder :)

hi,
open your theme, go to folder lib-> php -> post.class.php
open the post.class.php in any text editor.
find the below code.

function list_view_thumbs_small($post,$template = ‘blog_page’ ) { /returns markup for small boxes when list view thumbs is selected/

$classes = tools::login_attr($post->ID, 'nsfw');
   $size = 'thumbs_small';
<di class="hovermore" style="">

replace this code

<a class="mosaic-overlay" href="#post-<?php echo $post->ID; ?>" style="display: inline; ">
</a>

with this
<a class="mosaic-overlay" href="#post-<?php echo $post->ID; ?>" target="_blank" style="display: inline; ">
</a>

Am I correct in assuming you want the associate graphic river link to open in a new window?

Anyway I’ve sent you an email and look forward to hearing from you.

You could use js for that by adding somewhere in header.php something like http://pastie.org/8470883
