Hi there! Welcome to Codecanyon! :D
Well… a fresh looking, responsive interface (Ajax) is always a plus and is probably likely to sell it more than even the feature set will, as there are already alternatives out there. :)
I’m not sure what your skill level is but feature-wise something a little more collaborative could be a possibility, so it could be used by either an individual or a whole team, where files could be uploaded, schedules managed, invoices sent out via email etc and maybe even a chat… you could take some ideas from basecamp as I’ve heard they’re a popular solution nowadays.
Hehe, just throwing a few ideas at you! :P

Hello theninja,

Thanks for the ideas i will definitely use most of them (if not all of them).

Also, should i keep the user interface simple (i..e very less images, similar colors..) or should i go for more graphics and colors…...

Hmm… I think you should go with whatever you’re more comfortable designing, either will work as long as it’s nothing too over the top. A clean, minimalistic look is always a winner in my books, especially for these kind of interfaces that are used frequently (I personally quite like the invoice machine’s design)...
Anyway, good luck on the project :)
