New Designer With a Question

Hi Everyone, I’m still new to ThemeForest and I have a question. How unique is too unique?

I’ve submitted 1 Blogger design previously that was rejected. After mulling it over, I decided to scrap that design and begin working on some new ones, but just in a different direction than the first. Which brings me to my question, how unique is too unique for ThemeForest? I don’t really see that much in the way of diversity and wanted to know ahead of time before I submit my blood, sweat and elbow grease only to be rejected.

The more unique the better, so long as basic design principals are adhered to and the quality is spot on.

Great! I’ve been paying more attention to blog design trends the past few weeks and I’m pretty sure the basics are there. So I guess I’ll give it another go
