I received the elite care package the other day – the key chain has the new logo on it already. I actually thought this was some sort of printing error :D The “leaf” just doesn’t look like a leaf to me either.

But maybe it’s just a matter of time one gets used to it…

If this was to be an item for GR, it wouldn’t be approved. :)

That imperfection at the top of the leaf is because it is present in the current logo as well.

So I think they kept that part at least from the old leaf.

I made their current logo flat and used a similar typo like they have in the new one, kept the emblem a little larger though:

EDIT: now that I look at their original emblem flat and the new one next to it, I like the old one better as well, though I said few hours ago that I like the new one.

Not anymore. Sorry.

I think the new one goes better with the new choice of font….

I ask myself: Envato dealing with the best graphic designer in the world (I think that’s true). why she did not request their assistance in the creation of the logo, so that one of them will have the honor to create the new logo of the famous “Envato” firm, it can for example run a contest for the creation of its logo. and the first will be a small financial reward, or even just a “badge” added to his profile.

In this way, it will have a wide variety of choices of logos, and can even push things by giving the possibility to the users of the websites to vote on the 10 nominees Logo design, to choose the best among them by the end.
What do you think ?

In my opinion this logo is already ‘soft rejected’ by the community ;) I totally agree with kh2838 – the competition could bring many fresh ideas and… who don’t want a new badge
