Envato now supports uploading files to the marketplaces via FTP .

For authors uploading big files, this means faster and more reliable uploads, and the ability to queue up multiple files to upload.

How To Do It

We recommend you use the free FileZilla ftp client, although any FTP client should work just fine.

Use your FTP client to connect to the ftp.marketplace.envato.com, and use your regular marketplace username and password to log in.

From there, start uploading your files. You can queue up several big files to upload, and go away and do something else while it’s happening.

The screenshot below shows how to do this with FileZilla:

Once your files have finished uploading, go to the upload page on the marketplace. Your files will appear in the “Files” section of the page, and you can use them to submit your item as per usual.

That’s all there is to it!

If you have any problems, contact support and let them know the operating system and FTP client you’re using, and what went wrong.
