New Features - Just an Idea :)

Hi Guys,
I was thinking about few ideas for new features (if it’s possible to do) that might be very interesting and inspiring more authors and encourage buyers.

Wouldn’t be cool if there was a way to have those 2 features:

1 -Collaboration Products !
Take 2 or more artists, let them work together on a new item and they’ll be able to sell it and split the earnings. Yeah, they will earn less money each, But it will promote all of them in other’s profiles and it will be faster to produce since it’s a Team. also it’s a great way to see or hear something new combined from more then one creator.

Think about it, for example:
One artist make the Graphics (Photoshop, Illustrator etc..), another do the Composition (After Effects), and another one will make the Music and sound effects, BOOM ! something fresh.

- Could be done automatically, maybe 1 person will upload and fill on new field at the upload form: “Collab Product” and enter the other user names, so the system will know how to split it on purchase.

2 -Bundles !
Unlike myself, there are many authors with so many products (that’s amazing).
What if there was a way to make a bundle for a few items and sell it as one. so the buyer will have a cheaper price for a bigger buy.

- It could be done manually by reviewers after request (maybe a special form for this).

or

- Even better, an Automatic way to make your own bundle, just like we do our bookmarks.
so it can be MINUS X PERCENT for every item you add, then you created a new bundled item ready for sell.
Original Packs will encourage any buyer

Those features might be weird or bad ideas but I thought I should share what’s on my mind anyway.

Love both suggestions Nice to see some practical ideas, beneficial to both buyer and author.

Definitely something that staff need to think about, keep the site evolving

LOL , I like all the Envato websites, it’s a great place but I don’t see myself do much at FlashDen …yet
