Sounds great, thanks!
Great feature but in my opinion you really need to have a complete rating system (i.e. comments/feedback options) before you start pushing for ratings. From what I can gather from other threads on this issue you haven’t yet completed development of the system.
Awesome, but this should have been done years ago.
In the email, there’s a link at the bottom that says “Manage Email Settings”. Currently it looks like this is the way to opt out of these emails. But the more standard method is to have a small disclaimer at the bottom that says something like:
“You have received this email based on your account’s email preferences. Click here to manage your email preferences.”
I know it’s kind of redundant, but as someone who usually opts out of everything, I’m always looking for the little fine print message at the end of the email.
There’s nothing worse than receiving a promotional email and not being able to figure out how to opt out. And not pissing off the buyer is going to be extremely important if they can instantly rate our items.
Please do:) As this does not make more sense:)
Actually, I’ve had a closer look at this and what we have was intentional. Those settings that are duplicated are both email settings and author settings If you update one, it’s reflected in the other. The email settings screen is pretty new and we didn’t want to hide important stuff from authors too quickly.
