yes it is true and I suggest this to flashden reviewers as well that they put a watermark on files as well if authors don’t do this themselves.

good point, so u dont have to decomplie a file to use it? thats bad, i think im going to start watermarking my files…

Yeah, i should have thought this out, in theory somebody could use my files and change all of the settings in the xml file, that is both a good thing and a bad thing. Watermarks from now on for sure.

well.. that is why you can use two versions.. a preview one and the real source…
disable/delete/edit some code for the preview file… fake the actions…
but the files do get encrypted here right? The only xml file I sell here has got a big logo in the middle, so it won’t be just ripped, but still…

yes but the point i have raised is something different.
Another good way to prevent this is to load the entire swf into a blank swf to preview, so that saving the web page from the browser would just save the blank swf.

but the other swf will be in the system cache? if someone really wants your file they will get it.
