All I want to know if I can use items sold under the Tool License to create items for stock marketplaces

example:

step A ) buy pattern under tool license.

step B ) use pattern as texture for 3D model

step C ) 3d model will be rendered as video

step D ) video will be sold on videohive

here http://themeforest.net/licenses/tools is really not specified. can’t figure out if I can do it or not.

what about writing a simple text like:

YOU CAN USE FOR STOCK ITEMS!

or

YOU CAN’T USE FOR STOCK ITEMS!

why is so hard to write this, is a common case after all, we are on stock marketplace :(

@doru, Clause #4 seems to be answering your question:

4. You can Sell the End Products created using a Tool, to any number of people. As explained further on, the End Products must not contain the Tool itself.

Also the bubble hint under clause #6 clears more:

For example: You license a font and use it in a poster template. You can’t include the font in the poster template download, but you can link buyers of the template to the font.

For me it took just 3-4 minutes to grasp the fact that End Product made using tool can be implemented on stock or anything as long as the tool itself isn’t distributed.

Until the day when each marketplace has its own license words and usage examples, there is no perfect 1s and 0s in our understandings! :) Everyone including Collis and Lance might be living in the world of 0.00001s and 0.99999s

Someone may go dizzy if we ask for usage examples per category :D
