New Logo Feedback..

Ok, so my current logo is a little old and a little boring and my avatar hardly relates to me or what I do or anything, I cant even remember who’s eye it is

Ive been sketching a few ideas over the last week and I keep coming back to this kinda thing and so i’d love your opinions please, all critism welcome…

I love the One... but do you really want to go with the Red? so much ppl in here use Red… what about a special color? as example Oubergine

Lol, no but being serious, i like the last one, nice and clean

it’s a little dark – you need higher contrast between the bground and the text – also looks a little like one of Adobe’s product badges?

I like the positionings and the glow, except when the image is 80×80, I think it will make “fx” unclear, but you can have variations. I agree with Daniel about the red being used too much, the silvery look I think is very suitable

well its not to be just used in here, this will go everywhere I go so I dont mind that there are others with a red avatar here, i’ll just have to make mine redder than Jays

Yeah its got an adobe feeling to it as I wanted the logo to demonstrate what I do whilst looking quite sharp, hence the red colours of Flash and so its likely i’ll go with red but I tried AfterEffects colours because I thought they looked good too

For a final logo I will get it vectorised but ive re-rendered it at 100×100 and its all still clear so 80×80 should be ok

so then.. now I prefer the AE look, the last ones
