Hi everyone,
I’m having the same problem as a lot of designers – I’m trying to rebrand myself and finding it tough.
I’ve been trying to simplify my branding, and also make it a bit more professional-looking, and I’ve come up with this: http://bit.ly/dUXU6l
I’d really appreciate any opinions you have.
Thanks!

I really like it, elegant and clever yet simple. You’ve achieved your goals with this rebrand in my opinion!

Working fine here too, Weird eh? Everyone that seems to be able to view it is from the UK!
Doesn’t work so good for me either, but I just used webkit inspector to dig it up manually. I think your jQuery is broken.
“TypeError: Result of expression ‘b(”.”+G).live’ [undefined] is not a function. – jquery.colorbox-min.js”

Looks good, have you thought about aligning the type with the type in the mark, letting the box extend outwards? Somehow I think that would sit better. Can I ask what the ‘Fi’ is representing?

The current logo looks quite unsubtle. The new one, on the other hand, looks quite nice. It looks wayy…yy better than the current one. So I’d say go for it. Also you might want to add some details in this new one. Maybe a little bit of noise or colors, etc. Gray doesn’t add the spice and lately, I’ve seen many logos with similar elements.
Still, for now, this new one looks really good. It’s well-balanced and pretty neat. Good luck with all the new changes.
I would say that i like the old one but your new logo can be better if you work on details. So… one color spot doesn’t hurt anyone.
Another one thing:

I want to know where is that balance. You wanted to align the text with the top and bottop margins of the logo square but you made a compromise and now you have too much empty space between the “Fiona Roberts and “Graphics” lines. I think you should have nearer the two text lines, combine them in one single group, and then you should align the text group with the middle of square. This is horizontal balance. Normaly, this is the right way if you like the icon on the left side.
Also Raincutter have a great point on his reply. Just some thoughts.
