Very nice Charlie! Nice Design + Animations and it also works very intuitively for me.
The only detailed thing I would like to see it to have is that the options menu, closes automatically after a while if it isn’t touched, but you could also leave it like this.
Anyway I think you will get great sales!
Really good work.
Would be good to have an image movement off option, and an xml link in the footer.
@ BigZ – Thanks. Will implement it.
@ peejay – Thanks. Will try to implement it on the top menu.
@ mpc – not really… What I did was mix two files I have: Ultimate Gallery (image paning) and XL Template (basically the menu). Anyway in comparasion to that website you pointed the navigation system is totally different, the top menu is different, the thumbs are different, elements positioning is different, ... I have seen some copyright “fever” on Flashden and I hope after all this work I don’t have any problems with this file.
i like it the only problem i have with this kind of template is that the pictures are not full lens. i mean that they are full screen wich means that they are cropped. and when you do pictures you want people to see it not cropped, you spend time doing your frame, your composition and it is cut by the template i find it a bit sad.
@ iveslac – I think that can be fixed. I’ll think of a way and might add that viewing option. Thanks
Oh…personally i find it annoying that the image dims when you hover over the next button. Most people hover there, and the way it is at the moment you ahve to keep moving the mouse back and forth.
i like full screen too but it has to show the whole picture and can not crop it. if you work as a photographer you want your work to appear as you meant it. framing is really important so it depends if your goal is to sell to amateur or pros. well even amateurs want their pictures to be respected in a way. ask photographers or a painter if they want that they pics appears at 85% instead if 100, i bet on 100
